A collection of family-related poems, authored by the talented among us.
We all like to eat, so you know there'll be cookin'.
But even with curves, we're all still good-lookin'.
If only our brains were as big as our thighs,
There would be no calamity when frying our fries.
But if you know us, then you'll know what a bummer...
Because of those fries, three fires in one summer!
First there was Micah, if we're gonna name names.
Her Daddy's whole house went right down in flames.
Next - just a kitchen, that one was Vicki.
And right behind her was the sweet, little Nikki.
They come at a price, but fries we will find,
If they cost us our homes or a wider bee--hind!”
-Micah
We may not be rich, and we may not be skinny. But one thing I know, we've got family a-plenty.
Our grammar's not great. Our brains can be scattered, but we know how to love, and that's the one thing that matters!
So we'll just keep on sharing, our words sweet and kind, even loving the strays. No one left behind!
-Micah
The Fripp's are special in all different forms, they love deeply and come in swarms.
Don't be in a hurry when they are telling a story, their minds are so scrambled it is cause to worry!
I love each and every one of them no one more or less, however that group text makes me crazy I must confess.
But as I go along each day I know they will be there to pray and that's the most special part of all, I know that their God is my God and he is there for us all!!!!”
-Crystal
A broke arm here
A broke tooth there
It's all in the fun !
We don't care
If we hobble and if we're
lame
We had fun and there's
no shame !
-Vicki
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I love the Fripps
And they love me too
